Qiqi is 5-Star Cryo support in Genshin Impact who gained meta-relevance after almost six years of being considered one of the worst characters in the game. The reason she's so good now is thanks to new Stellar Glimmer reactions, and the big buffs Qiqi received to work alongside it.
To help her perform at her best, this page details the best Qiqi build in Genshin Impact, including her best teams, weapons, and Artifacts. And if you want even more information on this previously meme-ified character, check out our page on Qiqi's materials, kit, and Constellations

Best Qiqi teams in Genshin Impact
While you can use Qiqi in regular teams as a dedicated healer, she is notoriously bad in this role when compared to other characters who heal, as Qiqi is slapped with some unfortunate energy and cooldown restrictions.
That's where Qiqi's Witch's Revelation buffs come in. They've turned her into a top-tier, free-to-play support option in the Stellar Glimmer teams of Stellar Conduct and Stellar Swirl. She gets even better at C6, but still helps out enormously without that final Constellation.
Stellar Conduct teams
Qiqi can slot into just about any Stellar Conduct team going and do a great job. Although the list below goes over her most powerful, and free-to-play friendly teams, chances are if you have a free slot in a Stellar Conduct party, Qiqi will be a great final pick.
Here are some of the best Stellar Conduct teams using Qiqi in Genshin Impact.

While Qiqi puts in a better performance in Stellar Conduct teams, you can use her in Stellar Swirl team comps as well. The issue lies in filling that final slot with someone like Odette, Cryo Traveler, or an Anemo character is going to be better for overall team damage in most cases. But if you have those requirements met - Qiqi away!

Here's a list of Qiqi's best weapons in Genshin Impact.
Favonius Sword Everybody's favourite 4-star sword is once again putting in the work, as Qiqi can use it for Energy Recharge, and her crit hits have the chance to create Elemental Particles for your team. Of course, if using this, you need to build a good Crit Rate on Qiqi. Freedom-Sworn Provides Elemental Mastery and teamwide buffs to the attack stat, and normal, charged, and plunging attacks - but only when Qiqi triggers an Elemental Reaction. You'll actually want to trigger two with Qiqi to make the most out of this sword. Key of Khaj-Nisut Increases Qiqi's HP and EM, and her teammates EM when she reaches three special stacks by using a Skill. A nice choice, but only for teams that benefit from more EM. Finale of the Deep This 4-star Snezhnayan craftable weapon is an excellent choice for Qiqi if you don't need to generate particles for your team with the Favonius Sword. It increases Qiqi's attack, and adds even more when she uses her Skill.Although Qiqi does have a few good weapon options, it's not really recommended to equip her with anything other than the Favonius Sword if you need to produce Energy Particles for the rest of your team. If your team doesn't need extra particles, then you can switch Qiqi to a different weapon.
Best Qiqi Artifacts in Genshin Impact
In general, you want to put the 4-piece Tenacity of the Millelith set on Qiqi in Genshin Impact. This is due to its teamwide attack buffs when Qiqi uses her Skill.
Alternatively, if you have Qiqi at C6 and another teammate is already using Tenacity of the Millelith, then she can equip the 4-piece Noblesse Oblige set for an increase to her, and her team's attack when she uses a Burst.
The main stats you should aim for on Qiqi's Artifacts are:
- Sands - Attack
- Goblet - Attack
- Circlet - Crit Rate/Attack
You want to build Crit Rate on the Circlet to help generate Energy Particles when using the Favonius Sword, but if Qiqi is at C6, then Attack is recommended over Crit Rate (unless you're really struggling to land crit hits with Qiqi).
Also, when at C6, Qiqi's Stellar Glimmer buffs scale with her attack, which is why it's important to equip her with attack artifacts.
The substats you should aim for with these Artifact sets are:
- Crit Rate
- Attack
Again, Crit Rate is only an important sub-stat when Qiqi has the Favonius Sword equipped.
How to play Qiqi in Genshin Impact
Playing Qiqi in Stellar Glimmer teams is super easy, as all you have to do is use Qiqi's skill in order to apply Cryo, boost Stellar Glimmer damage, and generate particles for your team.
You can now play Qiqi like this because her Witch's Revelation buffs mean Qiqi's Skill applies Cryo consistently off-field when other characters hit an enemy. Plus, Qiqi increases the entire team's Stellar Conduct damage by a massive 50% when her Skill is active - this is what makes Qiqi so good now. And as a much needed bonus, her Skill now generates Cryo Particles.
Qiqi's Burst also deals additional damage within a Polestar Field (only in Stellar Conduct teams), but you only want to use Qiqi's Burst in every rotation if you have her at C6, as it boosts Qiqi's damage even more.
When building Qiqi, you should prioritise her Skill if you need more healing, or her Burst if you'd like a little more damage. Normal attacks can be completely ignored. In fact, you can ignore her Skill and Burst too if you don't want to waste materials - Qiqi is completely fine at lower levels.
