Best Mizuki teams in Genshin Impact
Mizuki works best in the Stellar Glimmer team of Stellar Swirl. You just need to make sure you're pairing her with someone who can actually activate that reaction, such as Odette or the Cryo Traveler. And although Mizuki can be played in a combined Stellar Conduct and Stellar Swirl team, it's best to stick to Stellar Swirl for maximum damage potential.
Stellar Swirl teams
Stellar Swirl is a fantastic free-to-play entry point to Stellar Glimmer damage, as Mizuki is a standard banner character and most of her best team options are either free, or easily obtainable 4-stars. You can play Mizuki outside of Stellar Swirl in any team where she can swirl an ordinary Elemental Reaction, but next to Stellar Swirl, it's a significant downgrade.
Here are some of the best Stellar Swirl teams for Mizuki in Genshin Impact.
Mizuki Odette Cryo Traveler Sucrose Mizuki Odette/Cryo Traveler Qiqi/Diona Sucrose Mizuki Odette Cryo Traveler Faruzan Mizuki Odette/Cryo Traveler Qiqi/Diona FaruzanSucrose is preferable to use over Faruzan, but a C6 Faruzan is far more workable.
Best Mizuki weapons in Genshin Impact
Mizuki has lots of weapon options, with Elemental Mastery (EM) the common theme between her best picks.
Here's a list of Mizuki's best weapons in Genshin Impact.
Sunny Morning Sleep-In Her signature 5-star banner weapon is still the best pick for Mizuki, even after her Stellar Swirl buffs, thanks to its big boost to Elemental Mastery when a swirl is triggered. Starcaller's Watch A really good 5-star 'stat stick' for Mizuki thanks to the EM buffs, but not worth pulling for that reason alone. Still, a top choice if you happen to have it. A Thousand Floating Dreams In the same situation as Starcaller's Watch: great as a 5-star EM 'stat stick' if you happen to have, but not worth pulling for. Reliquary of Truth Another great 5-star 'stat stick' if you happen to have it. Sacrificial Jade A battle pass weapon that increases Mizuki's Crit Rate, and Elemental Mastery when you swap back to her after being off-field for five seconds. Dawning Frost Increases Mizuki's Crit Damage, and her EM after using her Skill or charge attacks. Wandering Evenstar Raises the entire team's attack based on how much EM Mizuki has. The Widsith A fantastic free-to-play choice that increases Mizuki's Crit Damage, and occasionally EM. But due to it's randomness, isn't consistently good. You can also use Sacrificial Fragments for a unique particle generation/Skill usage loop, or any other Elemental Mastery 'stat stick' you might have knocking about.
Best Mizuki Artifacts in Genshin Impact
There are a lot of artifact options for Mizuki, but two of the best are the 4-piece Scarlet Proof for its Stellar Swirl and Crit Rate buffs, and the 4-piece Viridescent Venerer which now buffs Stellar Swirl damage on top of its traditional Elemental Resistance shredding effects.
Alternatively, as Mizuki gets better the more Elemental Mastery (EM) she has, you can mix-and-match your best 2-piece sets that increase EM:
- Instructor
- Wanderer's Troupe
- Gilded Dreams
- Flower of Paradise Lost
- Night of the Sky's Unveiling
- Aubade of Morningstar and Moon
The main stats you should aim for on Mizuki's Artifacts are:
- Sands - EM
- Goblet - EM
- Circlet - Crit Rate/Crit Damage/EM
The substats you should aim for with any of these Artifact sets are:
- Crit Rate
- Crit Damage
- EM
The only time you might not want to prioritize Crit Rate/Damage is if you have Mizuki at C6, seeing as she gets a massive Crit boost when you activate it.
How to play Mizuki in Genshin Impact
Are you ready for Mizuki's most dangerous combo? All you have to do to effectively play Mizuki in Genshin Impact is: use a Stellar Linchpin ability, swap to Mizuki, use her Skill, float around the enemy. That's all it takes to annihilate enemies with the Stellar Swirl reaction. If you activate other buffs as well as a Stellar Linchpin ability, then Mizuki will do even more damage when she's floating around after using her Skill.
Just keep in mind that a Stellar Linchpin character like Odette or the Cryo Travel are essential, as Mizuki can't activate the Stellar Swirl reaction without it. And Stellar Swirl is what makes her so good.
As a bonus, if you're ever in need of healing, activate Mizuki's Burst and go towards those little 'snacks' to restore HP while you're floating around. If you don't, they will eventually explode and hit any enemies nearby.
When building Mizuki, all you need to do is worry about levelling-up her Skill. You can also improve her Burst, but it's nowhere near as important. Her normal attack can be completely forgotten about, as you're never going to use it anyway. May as well save those materials for somebody who actually needs them.
