Want to know which are the Best Grand Blue Traits to roll? Look no further than my player-made guide, which presents a few build options to hopefully find one tailored to you.
I also have a Grand Blue Traits Tier List, including the buffs of all Traits, if you want a full spread of the rankings.
Best Grand Blue Traits Builds
Health to DMG Manipulation Build
This first build takes health manipulation into consideration when battling, meaning damage buffs begin to stack from the start of a fight at full health, all the way down to 50% HP, and 15% remaining HP. It’s ideal for players who want to tank damage, deal heavier hits, and find themself strung in combat often.
- Maniac
- The lower your HP, the harder you fight: Up to +25% DMG and 15% less DMG taken. Starts when HP is below 50%, caps at 15% remaining HP.
- Arrogant
- Deal 15% more DMG above 90% HP.
- Predator
- Deal 20% additional DMG to enemies below 15% remaining HP.
Hidden Perk Build
This build focuses on upgrading other game perks to maximise capacity and get more from the main game collections. Extending capacity or reducing the cost of Skills/other Perks allows for quicker and more efficient build development, as well as unique ways to increase overall strength.
- Beast Tamer
- Allows you to equip an extra pet, and every pet costs 1 less Skill Slot.
- Gaudy
- +1 Accessory Slot.
- Limit Breaker
- Grants each Skill an extra upgrade.
Balanced Build
A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Balanced, as all things should be. This final Build is versatile for most players, having a touch of improvement in every section it can cover with only three Trait slots.
- Maniac
- The lower your HP, the harder you fight: Up to +25% DMG and 15% less DMG taken. Starts when HP is below 50%, caps at 15% remaining HP.
- Copycat
- Store the last Skill that hit you (excluding Fruit Skills), then press X within 30 seconds to cast it back at an attacker.
- Gaudy
- +1 Accessory Slot.
Notable Traits
Traits that are good, but specific to certain builds.
- Pyromaniac
- Inflicted burn builds 25% quicker, and its damage ticks 25% harder.
- Ideal if using the Flame Fruit as your primary combat.
- Night Owl
- +1 Speed and +5% DMG at Night.
- Perfect for the Mink races (Cat and Bunny), especially when applied with the buffs from Sulong transformation.
How To Get More Trait Rerolls
Trait Rerolls are a common free reward from redeeming Codes, sourced via the official Discord community server. These Codes have a timer after redemption before you can claim and use them, so I suggest redeeming them before you play.
How To Create Your Ideal Build
If these builds don’t work for you, I suggest checking out my Tier List linked above, reading through the descriptions of each Trait, and checking where they place in the Tier. From this, you’ll have an understanding of their long-term utility and how well they’ll work for you based on what you’re looking for.
What Are Traits?
Traits are permanent passive buffs that you customise in the reroll menu, where you change the appearance of your avatar and reroll your Race. You can have three at one time, with one in reserve storage. Additional storage slots cost Robux if you choose to invest.
The idea is to create a synergised build of Traits that work in conjunction to enhance your build overall. This means builds aren’t one-size-fits-all, and you may deviate from the suggestions I’ve provided in this guide.
If you want to begin rerolling and customising your build for yourself, head over to Grand Blue via Roblox.
